Hollow Oak Acres Farm is an amazing experience!! I went with a few of my friends and we had such a great time learning how to make soap with Shelley. She is such a wonderful person to spend the afternoon with from soap making, touring the farm and my most favorite part of the day playing with the baby goats. She made an amazingly yummy charcuterie tray and we sat outside and had a picnic. All Private Hosted Workshops are booked with a minimum reservation of 8 people. This applies to both weekday and weekend bookings. Gift boxes of soaps will be provided for all 8 reservations regardless of the actual number of attendees.

  • Shelley will teach you the in’s and out’s of handcrafting your very own Artisan product. For our Goat Milk Soap we use the Cold Process Method.

    You will be guided step by step in making Goat Milk Soap or Sugar Scrub.

  • After you’ve created your Artisan Goat Milk Product, take in the whole experience at Hollow Oak Acres.

    Play with our friendly baby goats, learn the traditional art of goat milking, and immerse yourself in the rustic charm of our farm. Whether it's by the tranquil pond or under the cool shade of our sprawling oak trees, every moment is a testament to the love we have for our farm.

  • Goat Milk Soap Workshop
    On the day of the event, the Host/Hostess will take home 3 Artisan Goat Milk Soap bars, made with high quality, luxury oils and butters, plus a variety of handcrafted products.

    Goat Milk Sugar Scrub Workshop
    On the day of the event, the Host/Hostess will take home two 12 oz Goat Milk Sugar Scrubs and two 5 oz Sugar Scrubs.

  • Goat Milk Soap Workshop
    On the day of the event, the guests of the Host/Hostess will take home 3 Artisan Goat Milk Soap bars, made with high quality, luxury oils and butters. And a selection of goodies.

    Goat Milk Sugar Scrub Workshop
    On the day of the event, the guests of the Host/Hostess will take home two 12 oz Goat Milk Sugar Scrubs and two 5 oz Goat Milk Sugar Scrubs, made with high quality, luxury oils and butters. And a selection of goodies.

  • For all Goat Milk Soap Workshops your Goat Milk Soap Bars will remain at Hollow Oak Acres for the Curing Process (It takes 6 weeks for your soap to cure).

    When your soap is ready, your Hostess will be notified to collect the soaps which she can then distribute to each attendee.

    Each attendee will take home a selection of our products on the day of the event.

    We hope you enjoy the hands-on experience and the unique soap you create. On the day of the event, each attendee will take home a selection of our products. For all Goat Milk Soap Workshops, your handmade Goat Milk Soap Bars will remain at Hollow Oak Acres for the Curing Process, which takes 6 weeks for your soap to cure.

    To ensure that everyone can conveniently retrieve their creations, we have established the following policy:

    Pickup Window: The 3-month pickup window begins after the 6 week curing period has completed. Finished soap bars must be picked up within this time frame. We kindly ask you to contact us to schedule your pickup during this period to ensure your soap is waiting for you.

    Scheduling Pickup: To schedule your soap pickup, please contact us at hollowoakacres@gmail.com or (916)-869-3855. Providing us with advance notice of 48 hours helps us ensure your soap is ready and waiting for you upon your arrival. Please bring your ID with you for verification.

    Unclaimed Soap and Liability Reminder: We kindly remind all workshop participants that if your handmade Goat Milk Soap Bars are not picked up within the 3-month window following their curing process, we may repurpose or donate them. While we encourage you to arrange for the prompt pickup of your creation to avoid any disappointment, please understand that Hollow Oak Acres cannot provide a replacement for soap that has been repurposed or donated after this period has passed. Ensuring you receive your handmade creation is important to us, and we're here to assist with pickup or shipping arrangements within the United States. Your cooperation helps us manage our workshop space effectively and continue offering memorable experiences to our community.

    Shipping: Understanding that it may not always be convenient to pick up your soap in person, we offer a shipping option. For a flat rate fee of $12, we can ship your soap directly to your home within the United States of America. We aim to ship your soap within a week of receiving your request and payment.     We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this policy. It allows us to manage storage efficiently and keep our workshop space organized and welcoming for all participants.
